Suggested for charters of 5 to 10 days

Maximum time in remote areas for island exploration and water sports,
saving a full day of sailing to and from Nassau.

Fly to SOLSTICE, either:
- With a private plane charter, fly into Black Point (see Flights).
- A smaller group can take scheduled flights by the seat into Staniel Cay (see Flights).

For flying out of Norman's Cay, charter a private plane (see Flights).

Day 1

Arrive at either Black Point or Staniel Cay, with amazing views of the Exumas as you fly. On your arrival, explore the secluded coves and beaches here.

Day 2

Follow your whim to join Liza in morning yoga/fitness, or just relax over breakfast. Snorkeling Staniel Cay's famous Thunderball Grotto, a giant cave featured in the James Bond film, you feel as if you're in a gigantic aquarium! Other options include fishing with a local guide to catch tonight's dinner, or hiking across the island for a spectacular view of Exuma Sound along a rugged, rocky coast just begging to be explored. An afternoon sail north through the picturesque Pipe Creek area gives another opportunity to catch fish as we troll through this angler's haven. Anchor for the night in Sampson or Compass Cay, just in time for sunset. Enjoy cocktails and dinner under the stars onboard Solstice as you gear up for tomorrow's adventures.

Day 3

After a morning snorkel or swim and a little beachcombing, sail on to Warderick Wells, the headquarters for the Exuma Land and Sea Park. Explore the 4 miles of trails on this protected cay by foot and get some world-class photo opportunities of rare flora and fauna. Discover wells, caves and breathtaking views of Exuma Sound. Scuba dive or snorkel to witness healthy, protected coral reefs and big, friendly animals underwater. You can also explore this paradise with our dinghy or sea kayak. This picturesque harbor is another perfect spot for a relaxing evening under the stars.

Day 4

Sail on to Shroud Cay, a deserted island. We anchor out, explore the intricate mangrove creeks with our kayak and dinghy, and have a tropical picnic at "Camp Driftwood" beach. In this out-island experience, you'll truly feel you have time traveled back to the "Land of the Lost"!

Day 5

Awake to a gorgeous sunrise. Snorkel or scuba dive before we sail midday for our next island destination, Highborne Cay. Explore this island's small settlement, then drop anchor in a calm, protected bay adjacent to secluded beaches and virgin coral reefs.

Day 6

Continue North to Allen's Cay. Arrive in time for an afternoon snorkel and dinghy ride to one of many private beaches and coves where wild iguanas emerge to greet you. Enjoy a sumptuous dinner at this peaceful, protected anchorage, and enjoy stargazing while lying on Solstice's large trampolines.

Day 7

Sail through the islands and the stunning cuts of Saddleback Cay to Norman's Cay. We first anchor in the deserted northern end of Norman's, where you enjoy long beaches where the only footprints are your own! Venture through the trees and rocks to find a spectacular bay that changes magically with the tides. Sailing down Norman's a bit more, we anchor in the harbor adjacent to the airstrip. This Southern end of the island hosts the ruins of an infamous drug runner, and you can even snorkel on his partially submerged airplane just feet from our anchorage. Those interested in bone fishing can explore the nearby flats at low tide.

Day 8

Dinghy ashore to meet your charter flight to Nassau or Florida. Realize that next year, you'll need at least 2 weeks on board!

This itinerary is considered 7 24-hour days and nights.
